Recently done a search of paintball tanks across the net and came across these that I thought I would share.

Nice tanks but I know of one that is even better not because of looks but because it has AC for those long sunny summer days :333: .

Man, I gotta say that that Russian crew has some NICE looking stuff! Having a huge variety of real steel tracked platforms to start with probably doesn't hurt though
I think the "coolest" is definitely The Walkons LAV "Black Sunshine"...
Image
yes I am a little biased...but I would bet on "Black Sunshine" and an Oregon team up against those Russkies any day! :333:
Bring it Igor! :marine:
Cool pics...I don't know anybody who doesn't dig the armor. I think we would all probably like to have one or two of those at every Paintball event we attend...am I wrong? Now if only we ALL had a shop.... 8)
EDITED to add Pic!

Love the Tiger of course  the other German vehicle there i think is modeled after a Jagdpanther. Awesome stuff.

Yeah, those are some awesome mock ups. The one Tiger I had to take a second look and noticed the girl next to it showing its scale but what freakin detail, if you rolled that thing down the street I think it would really scare people and make them think of the movie "Red Dawn"

Got to hand it to the Russkie's. They have some nice toys. I would like to see how they and their crews would match up against the Beast and Wallace. It would be a great fight.

Yeah awesome tanks as mentioned before. I too would like to run up against them...the real treads and all of that really do add another dimension to the game.

I'm liking the little Sherman tank. That's awesome.

Yeah that tank is no joke. We went up against it at TAWs Underworld 2008.

I'll be making a rear motion detecting sweeping camera for the back end of the tank so you can't easily sneak up on the tank or get run over.

Yeah I know there was one instance were someone on one of the sides got way too close to the tank as it was moving. I would be interested to see how you're keeping track of the video from that thing.

What about hard mounting (not to the turret) a wide angle, 4 channel security camera system and putting a small monitor in with the gunner? If you clearly label each quadrant of the camera feeds, she may be able to keep track of it while shooting.

You can get those wide angle spy cameras for fairly cheap along with a non-computer setup for a small monitor. Try looking for cctv cameras on security sites.

<edit> ah found it....mini wireless cctv camera 4 channel receiver:

Just add 3 more cameras: http://www.allaboutadapters.com/24ghzwicasuk.html

If you want to get more creative, since the cameras have mics, you could wire for speakers in the turret so the audio can be heard from the direction of fire within the turret like surround sound.
