The concept of Milsim Empire was started by several individuals when a former website Milsim Owners Group ceased to exist. A core group of players wanted a site to talk about Milsim Paintball, and MSEP was born. The group that originally decided to start this new website came down to two individuals. Windwalker (Del) and SRTsniper (Dan), and our friends. It was Windwalker who labored on the programming aspect of the site and without him there would be no MSEP. We grew and at our height MSEP drew 7000 unique page views a week. No Yahoo, but fairly popular in any search engine. However, things change and with social media gaining in its popularity forums have taken a back seat, and we could no longer sustain the expense of a $1200 a year server. Many of of core friends have gone on to other passions and in this spirit we will carry on. MilsimEmpire will eventually become WIldEmpire; a site that will encompass all our passions from shooting and tactical defense to bbq and mountain biking. In the end, this site was nothing more than a means for good friends to come together and talk about our shared interests, and thats what we will continue to do.

Wild Empire is now up, open and ready for all to participate for those who wish to discuss those topics.

SRTsniper and I came up with the idea of WE (Wild Empire) many years ago as a sister site to MSEP... mainly for those of us who enjoy other outdoor recreation that's not paintball related. It was about that time that the economy tanked and for many of us paintball became a luxury sport, and as a result alot of folks retired from paintball and activity here at MSEP plummeted. At that point it made little sense to us to have to different sites going when one was seeing very little use. So, for now, they're combined under one site, the MSEP site.

Here is what we need from you guys:
Start spreading the news that MSEP is back up and online for your paintball buddies. Also, tell anyone who is interested that Wild Empire is here too.

Suggestions/Ideas:
Have an idea for Wild Empire? Post it up, let's hear it!

I think this merge between milsim and wild empire is great. It gives the site so much more variety than JUST paintball and lets us discuss differant things. I really hope this attracts more people and brings this site back it what it once was. With any luck it will be even better since there is a larger variety of things that we can chat about.

I for 1 think we should have a sub forum for beer though. We have one for BBQing and you cant have a BBQ without beer.

EDIT: Just realised there is a home brew section, thats close enough. I love this forums already. I was hoping that it would come back eventually, but I never though it would be back and be this much better.

LOL, SRTsniper has a micro-brewery and that's one of his passions... and really, that's what we want, a good group here to talk about all of our passions.

Good to see you back here

How´s everyone doing?

Just noticed there´s a spot for Mountain Biking now :D

But I can´t actually get in, so it´s "not open for business yet" yet?

Cheers!
