Is it just me or does everyone feel that 2008 was a terrible year? I can't wait for it to be over and gone.

Roger that one! It has been one of those years, full of set backs, disappointments, an overall rise in BS and political woe to boot. Hope the next year, is a damn sight better than this one has been.

This has been a sh*tty year, but it could be worse. I'm trying to stay optimistic and telling myself that "It has to get better, it can't get any worse!" We have the promise of a new year!

I found my year to be okay...but academically, not too good...Alright my new year's resolution will be to study harder!

Yeah it had its ups and downs (D-Day 2008 was fun as hell) however, other things sucked. Anyways, Im all about bringing in a New Year and seeing where it takes me.

08 for me wasn't too bad. I redeployed from Iraq, played at Fulda and met all the guys. It was a pretty good year for me.

Well, first half was ok...the summer was too. Autumn came around...and it was ALL downhill from there. I'm well past plans B and C... Hope 2009 will bring some joy, but the first 1/2 of the yr should be pretty tough as well.

Yep, i agree with all the above, will certainly be glad when this years over. Hopefully all will come good in the New year, especially my application to South Australia police. :lol:

i will say the first quarter was great, the second not to bad and the third was a give and take. the last quarter just sucked. fractured my back and ankle and found out I have a heart condition, missed some great cames do to being laid up and still am. I will say that things are starting to look up though as i won a contest i didn't know i was in and I am now an owner of a milsig...

I don't think 08 was that bad. Shure the politics sucked but when don't they. My year went fantistic. My sympithes for those who feel it was a bad year. Beter luck next year I guess.

It wasn't too horrible a year for me but it definitely sucks to see friends losing their jobs or getting their hours cut back. I can only hope things start to improve in 09...
