This is a repost from MSOG, originally posted by M98CRT-A4:

the Original Desert Duck were made by David Loo, he passed away after a few of the originals were made.. info from vintage rex

Year: 1988

This is the Desert Duck. The Duck was originally made and designed by David Loo. David Loo passed away after only a small amount of these particular guns were made. Earon Carter, then bought up the rest of the stock, and finished the rest. Rumor has it, that there are around a 600 of these particular guns circulating in the market.

The guns can be either direct feed or stock class, and either 12 gram or direct feed. This particular one has the 12 gram in the stock. Others may have a quick changer out of the back of the ASA.

I don't believe they're based on any markers right now, except for duckslide conversions for phantoms, or the boxguns using side pump arm'd nelsons.

There is the redux model being made by Mongo, I believe, at http://www.desertduckdd68.com who also makes the boxgun and the duckslide conversions.

EDIT: I was monkeying around with my original post and mistakenly deleted it, so here it is reposted.

It's a beautiful weapon! A bit long perhaps, but still classy looking.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
